• Support bands included Malvern’s own Virgin Star, who were active in Malvern around 1978 – 1983. We played lots of local gigs – The Nag’s Head was a regular one, and various West Midland venues. We had just signed with Hughes Brothers Entertainment in (I think) 1982 which was why we were supporting Diamond Head.

  The line-up at the time was:
  Paul ‘Tates’ Taylor – vocals
  Russell Simon – guitar
  Mark Simon – drums
  Guy Tittley – bass
